Assuming the 9 wins comes into fruition with Hoffman, Vleugel and Cole, I wonder how many wins I gain from more season and growth of my other hitters.
Perkins was worth 2.5 WAR in just 59 games. If he hits like he did, that should be another 2.5 WAR.
Assuming Verba can stay healthy, I can see us gaining an extra win out of him.
Rodrigues should be a win too.
I think we can definitely be a 75 win team. With some luck, improved seasons out of McPherson, McInturf and Leo Martinez and the promotions of Eckstein & Wilkinson, who knows how far that takes us.
Or everyone fails and we lose another 100 games. It's a fickle game.

I think if you tried really, really hard this season, you could win that division.
Wilmington Wildcats- 2057- Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041 Washington Bats - 1979-2013
One more higher end starter and tighten up that bullpen.
Eckstein and Wilkinson are ready. I'd have them get majority of the Spring Training reps at SS and 2B, and unless they hit .150, I'm giving them the starting spots.

You can't avoid the growing pains so I wouldn't even worry about the .150 batting average unless it starts to affect they're moral.
A mid rotation veteran and a closer who's not named "Vulture". If Denver can hang in there by Allstar break, its a real possibility as the young kids will start playing better.

I still want to see what I have in Melgoza, Ledbetter and Gaxiola before I give away a spot to someone else.
Maybe by mid-season I see a trade that makes sense for me but right now, I'm not seeing one that does. Things do change. I thought I was set before I added Cole and Vleugel.

They are ready. I'm holding them back for philosophical reasons. They will each be up mid-June.
