Congrats Matt!!! Not easy to win one let alone two.

Ok offseason, Pawtucket has some work to do.

Looks like we won't have a ton of free agent money, but we were't planning on being heavy buyers anyway. Still expecting to fill some holes and we still can draw from a very heavy PD budget and or scouting if a "Fuji" comes via INT.

Alot of college players we drafted last season are already in AA and even one in AAA. Thats pretty fast for us, but made some adjustments when developing college players. Been studying the 08 draft (without the Intl players) for a longtime now. Think we got an idea of whats coming. Really need to hit this draft.

The Ale is still a beast, but we got a little time anyway rebuilding what hopes to be a very strong, hopefully multi core farm system. It will come.

We declined Fernando Hernandez's team option and made him a generous offer to return for three years at a salary about $10 million below what his team option would have paid him.

It looks like we will have a good chunk of money to spend and not many positions to fill. I'm excited for an offseason! Yay!

I don't know what it is but they just can't seem to lose very often once they get in.

I suggest you read Clay's new blog Matt. Time to come clean!

Bats are losing a lot of talent to Free-Agency. Enjoy, BLB.

It takes quite a bit of single player testing to make your BLB guys more durable. Something like 100 single player seasons per BLB player. Better fire that Tandy up!

Will Zac Gaston ever make the playoffs? Toronto has declined his option officially making him a free agent.

He'll want too much money for any of us to sign him. He'll retire or sign for half that with funclown's shit show.
