Pretty disappointing season overall but happy to have had two of the most dominant offensive seasons in team history with Santana and Mast. Both guys are in their prime so I just have to build an offense around them and I'll be back in the playoffs soon :)

Yeah, my roster is 23/25...the only other thing I can think of, let me see if putting them on the disabled list helps....

      !!!

That's all it took. I'm dumb.

From reading over in the OOTP forums. Did you place your players on the DL?

"When you go to set your playoff roster, place any players still injured on the DL - that will make sure you get your injury replacements. If you don't do it this way, you may or may not. And be careful if there's someone on your DL who's going to be healthy midway through the playoffs, as it can be sometimes difficult to get him from the DL back on to your playoff roster. In older versions I had to option/waive enough players to get my "active roster" down to 24 before I could activate him. This bug may have been fixed."

If that doesn't work just send Brad who you want and where you want them.

I just checked and there is a little box for Playoff Eligible that we have access to. I'm sure with that info Brad can fix everything you need.

Thanks for looking into it. Disabling them was the answer.

We finished strong at least. Don't like our chances however. But hey we did get the extra home game. I'm sure the owner will be happy.

ATTENTION TO ANYONE REPLACING INJURED PLAYERS!

Once you have removed the injured players to the disabled list, the very next player you move to the roster becomes the injury replacement player. No take backs.

Kinda self explanatory but just wanted to put it out there...

                Batavia is in.

Losing Haraguchi for the playoffs is huge. Ya he isn't the best field but what a rookie year. We're going to have to win this series with pitching I believe. I'm not a baseball guy and Pat is way better at this game than me so who really knows what will happen. All is know is it's nice to have a co-commish to run this sim.

                  Washington is in.

Pretty excited to sneak into the playoffs. At the All-Star break, I thought for sure I wasn't going to make it, under .500 and 2nd to DVS. The DuFour-for-Deleon trade was an attempt at selling. When McLouth, Ladd and Cardenas all went down late in the year, I was waiving the white flag...but somehow this team strung together their best month and won the Wild Card.

Fortunately, Ladd and Cardenas returned this week. Hopefully they don't have rust on their bats after missing the last month...Unfortunately, Tyler McLouth (who won the IL Batting Crown!) had a setback in his concussion symptoms and will miss at least the next two weeks. But it's a fair trade off with Batavia losing Haraguchi. What a year he had and what a player he is going to be. My scout isn't the best but that's the most "blue" I've seen on a player in awhile.

Good luck to Matt and the other playoff contenders. I think this one goes seven games.

Well, we managed to barely finish above .500, so if that matters to the owner at all (He wanted a winning record) it'll at least help.

We kinda stunk this season, but at least Roberto Ortega and Ron Stone finished strong. We'll be in rebuild mode next season even if Johnathon Morris takes his player option, all of our talented vets will get a shot with teams where they will possibly be happier/better.

Crappy Pat Forester led the league in triples. GO DUUUUKES! :)

82-80 is a winning season. Tell him you did exactly what he wanted.

Speaking of Johnathan Morris, someone really should have traded for him. Finishing the year on an absolute tear! 1.206 OPS for September and 1.009 OPS in October.

Happy to see Dave Farmer finish off a strong campaign. He's strictly a platoon guy now (even more so than he was in the past), but he put up a solid retrenching year with a 3+ WAR figure in what amounts to 65% of a season.

Of course this means he'll crater next season.

I noticed after being undrafted some kids still stick around hoping for "one" chance at being signed to a minor league deal. Lol, would someone please give this kid a shot!?
