Appears the playoff picture is just about set barring some miracles.

Should be a fun playoff to watch. Can't really finger a can't miss team right now. I can almost make a case for every team.

Pawtucket's magic numbers appear to be #2,#6,#14,#18. The draft coming up is pretty first round deep so feeling happy with those first 3 picks. There are 3 players who can go number 1 right now.

Good luck to the playoff teams this year!!!!

5-2 week and still lose two games in the standings. Would like to thank Carlos and Denver for being so horrible and letting Syracuse sweep the 4 game set. That should do it for the Snappers this year.

Well that does it. Pretty disheartening to lead the wildcard all season only to shit in the bed in the final 3 weeks of the season.

Jerry Brown's last week as a Guide coming up.

Possibly Fernando Hernandez's too. We shall see.

Hopefully after you decline his final year he comes down to earth a bit. Probably be more in the 20-25 per season range.

Since the revenues don't go up nearly as fast you would hope the game sort of caps these guys a bit.

Yeah, he's asking for somewhere in the $25M-$27M range. He's definitely coming down.

And he's an outstanding pitcher still. The question for me is whether he's the best use of that money for me. He probably will be. But it's not guaranteed.

I blame myself. I have rules when it comes to midseason trades and I broke them with Mejia. I pressed the panic button and That ended as an abject disaster. I could have had a rookie or someone off the scrap heap come up and pitch the way he did. And this is in no reflection on Spectre as it was a fair trade.

CF Manny Reyes hit .400 and 32 RBI in the month of September... Talk about picking up the slack.

Probably depends what the FA class looks like...

$25M can plug a ton of holes.
