Finally called up Alex Armenta at RF, he hit .375 and hit his first home run; hitting in the leadoff spot. We went 5-1 in the sim and for the first time this season we might have a winning record in a month that doesn't begin with the letter "A." Unfortunately we're way too far behind Pittsburgh and Los Angeles to seriously contend for a playoff birth.

So we start the week by sweeping Batavia, and end it by losing 3 of 4 to Philly scoring only 1 run in those losses and losing 2 of them 0-1.

                    This team has 0 consistency.

                      Patience.

I see this sim and see McPherson hit .300, Perkins hit .400, Rodrigues bat .381 and just wait for Eickstein & Wilkinson and a healthy not-rusty Pat Verba to contribute as well.

100 loss seasons are a toll.

2 game series aren't "sweeps". Especially when I'm letting you hit batting practice off a guy who hasn't pitched in 5 months.

I resent you for Raulo Gutierrez.

We aren't choosy on how we we win. We take freebies. Besides we are just letting you earn the BLB kiss of death......the #1 seed in the playoffs.

No Raulo is 'cold' and an emergency SP. This was Dewitt Pierce who hasn't pitched since he tore his tricep against Davenport in April.
