This roster has imploded. Just can't do anything right anymore.

Something seems wrong. I waived & DFAed Pat Wilson a few sims ago. He cleared waivers. But now when I try to demote him to AAA, it says he needs to clear waivers first. I'm certain he was waived and cleared, but he's not listed on my waivers tab anymore.

Did you miss the sim you had to make a decision on him?

Could be that Brad or Matt bumped him up because he was about to be released.

I really have no idea. I just know that I'm kind of stuck because Wilson now has to be assigned but can't go down to AAA because he allegedly hasn't cleared waivers. Do you have any suggestions?

Yeah but we still can't score runs or stop them.

Pitching isn't any good after Tamieke. Drafted a good number of arms but you just never know which ones will pan out even if all of them have similar ratings and minor league histories. Tamieke barely had an impressive minor league career yet he flipped a switch. Wish Melgoza and Ledbetter would do the same.

Not worried about Hightower and Gaxiola. First year. I expect ups and downs.

We are still waiting on the middle infield of Eckstein & Wilkinson (sounds like a law firm). Perkins, Verba, McInturf, Rodrigues and McPherson have done well enough. If that turns into 7 really capable hitters, I think I'll be okay offensively.

4-2 sim and we FINALLY get a little separation from Dallas. We've been right there within a game forever, despite 6-0, 5-1 sims Sully always seems to hang.

Not sure what you did. It would be in the transaction log for July 16th if he was DFA'd and waived...and it doesn't show him. It's happened to me a few times where I DFA'd a player instead of DFA and waive...so his DFA time ran out but he was still part of my 40 man so I was stuck.

1.) You can shell game him. Move someone like Santiago to AAA, put Wilson in the BLB then DFA and waive him again...then move Santiago back to the BLB.

2.) You can cut him.
