6-1 week, we sweep DAV and go 3-1 vs LAM. We're one Jamie Richardson HR off Fajardo in the bottom of the 9th from a perfect week. We go 10-1 on our post AS break road trip and are starting to roll at 18-7 in June. We've opened up a 2.5 game lead on WAS and put ourselves back in the Wildcard race at 54-44.

Tom Gentner has pitched 8 games since being acquired from DEN. He's 4-2 with a 2.91 ERA.

Jimmy Jones is batting .292/.393/.604 with 4 HRs, 14 RBIs, and 7 R in 16 games.

Colin Cash has been rolling since his return. He's batting .349/.375/.575 with 5 HRs, 16 RBIs, and 23 R in 24 games.

Our AAA team at Reno is cruising as well. 65-37 and loaded with prospects ready to hit the BLB:

Finally looks like we have things back on track after a bumpy start.

Yeah, we ran into a buzz saw there. Without Pat Marlin we seem lost.

Some better news:

C/LF Dave P hit his first homerun in Lowell and an impressive 24 walks versus 15 so. Needs to get his ave up, but most likely we see AA next season.

2nd round pick Tom Smith is going nuts right now. Has hit .300 at every level (.321, .316, .308 A,AA & AAA) . Going to slow him up now til his eye catches up. Still, possible 2008 June call up. Not bad kid.

We have a couple of high school prospects getting they're asses kicked right now, but that's to be expected. Have to be patient.

We're one game over .500 and our owner expects a winning record. Maybe we can get him at least that?

Troy McCarley, one of our few prospects, was called up at the young age of 21 to help fill the void left by the injured Bang-Xiao, and has struggled through his first sim in the majors. We'll be keeping him there and seeing what he can do, though.

Still have a .06% chance of the playoffs, baby!
