        Spoiler

I forgot to even consider that Jones would probably boost my Fan Interest. Well, it rocketed up to 95. That's the highest it's been since we moved. The cash has also added an additional $3m to our extension budget and gave us $2.5m for FA, in case of emergency down the stretch. We're finally out of the red that came as a result of our budget error and cash problem from our 114 win season.

RJ Manning and Danny Salcedo make the AS Game. So do Tex Watts and Agustin Perales in HAR/CLE.

Jimmy Jones goes 5-for-16 for .313/.421/.438 with 4 RBIs in his debut week at home.

Excited for the second half of the season.

              At the break:

              All-Star SP Yoshitaka Tameike: 13-3, 1.83 ERA, 127.2 IP, 107 K, 31 BB, 0.99 WHIP. Nice.
              All-Star LF Pat Verba: .258/.317/.535, 20 HR, 56 RBI, 22 2B, 3 3B, 6 SB
              CF Jamie McPherson: .276/.375/.425, 7 HR, 34 RBI, 20 2B, 3 3B, 14 SB
              C/DH Jamie McInturf: .279/.348/.485, 10 HR, 36 RBI, 15 2B, 1 3B

I doubt Tameike keeps it up at this high a level but that 1.83 ERA would be the lowest in the league since Pat Bryant in 2002 (1.62). He's also on a menacing wins pace.

Now if only Verba could bump that average up to at least the .270s. He might actually really get over 40. No Bulls player has ever hit 40 home runs.

Nice to see McP get a little run in there to move his numbers up. He had a tough June comparatively speaking. His power is down from his pace last year after being called up, but it's nice to see he's drawing more walks (47 BB) and still competing very well.

McInTurf is mostly overshadowed a bit by the above two hitters, but he's done a really nice job in his second season. His numbers are up across the board in every category and he's done all right as a catcher. He's not a natural there but he does his best.

Despite all those positives, we are still only 39-51. Slumped back to where we should be in June and July hasn't been so hot either. We were very lucky in the first half and as an infamous owner used to say "water finds its level." We hope that the promotion of Dave Perkins will offset that. Already we are seeing Hightower and Gaxiola return two very well-pitched games in each of their last two starts. Hopefully that continues for this squad.

No expectations this year, but next year will be a different story.

We stink. See New Orleans trade block. Johnathan Morris deserves better.

We are limping into the allstar break. Everytime we get healthy someone else goes down. This time Victor Robles for 5 weeks. We need a break here. Second half looks like a grind.

You fortunately have the 3rd easiest remaining schedule in the entire BLB.

There should not be any wonder why you 3-peat'd.
