Not much better than waking to an unexpected sim.

Well, there a few things better to wake up to...but not a lot!

Fuck. I "saved" the game, but did not export. Dam it.

Sorry Brad. I rarely miss my exports and was making alot of roster adjustments.

      BTW- The Porter is horrible!!!!

3-3 sim. 1-2 vs. New York, 2-1 @ New Orleans. Hope for better, expected worse.

Good: Waiver claim and former Baltimore Bulldog SP Jimmy Whitworth made his debut this week @ New Orleans and went 8 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 9 K! Obviously much better than I anticipated but I knew I got something good when Delandis made a post on the forums upset that other teams didn't make a claim. That's probably the best start by a Washington pitcher so far this season.

Bad: What's going on with SP Travis DuFour? The All-Time Bats great is struggling. After years of being one of the best pitchers in the BLB, DuFour took a step back last year at 33-years-old to post career lows across the board since his rookie season. This year, he is worse in every category. My scout still has him 6-6-6 and says he should be a good option to start. He doesn't care about money and Loyalty isn't a big deal to him, but maybe it's his impending Free-Agency that is getting the veteran down. This week he gave up six runs in 5.1 innings to mediocre New York lineup.

Ugly: Another loss in extras. Another pair of losses by the bullpen. Washington is now 3-7 in extra innings, 7-14 in one-run and the bullpen ERA is 9th in the IL. Could just be "one of those years." Again, I'm open to trade offers...

We're still here, stalking 2GB. Our MVP Colin Cash will be back in 2 weeks. Got two good starts out of Wences and English. That waiver trade for Tom Gentner (2-0, 2.63 ERA in 27 IP) looks good. Just gonna sit tight and see where we land this season. We do have extra arms that are moveable at all levels.

2-4 sim for New Orleans, although we get Yamamoto back now. We're a little behind the Dinos now, and if this keeps up we'll have some talented players up for trade around the All Star Break.

Pawtucket 6-0. 10-2 versus the Porter. Also, we are so good we don't even allow our draft picks to play.

Proud of the way the team held together without JJ. Volquez has played very well in his absence but it's time to step aside as the man comes back this week. And just in time as we have a tough week with Wash and DVS.

Geez I must have forgot to export and lost another stud reliever. That's 3 this season and one last season. My star bullpen is no more.

                    4-2.

Gaxiola threw a complete game in his first start.

Hightower won his first before leaving the second with a sore back. He will be day-to-day for a week.

Guys hit. Pitchers pitched. We're showing improvement.

Work on getting those A rosters down to 25.

We'll go for Monday's AM sim for the deadline. Please don't make me pick.

It was always a 2 horse race and one of the horses has pulled up lame. We had to put her down.

You know you just swept Baltimore, right?
