Can't complain about a 6-1 week. Including a sweep of those pesky Bandits who started to become a nuisance. JJ is just completely dominating right now. He won his second player of the week in three weeks. For the month of May he's batting .434 with 6 HR's. And we've needed it as he can Victor Robles are carrying the struggling offense. However we may be turning it around now.

Promoted CF Marco Volquez this sim. This 26 year old "rookie" has been SLOW cooked to death in our system. My scout says he's a god, even though he's never sniffed the top prospects list. But he's been getting better every year and just coming off a 20 game hitting streak in AAA. Well in his very first major league at bat coming off the bench as a PH he hit's a 2 run bomb. Nice way to start his career. Where it goes from here? We'll see. He won't get many at bats.

Finally this week Tyler Kling comes off the DL. I'm worried though these injuries have taken a toll on him. We won't rush him but put him in some rehab starts before bringing back up.

And a 4-2 sim makes us a .500 club on the dot. 22-22 overall.

We're still 3 games back in the Pilsner, but after winning a series against both division leaders, I'm starting to think there might be a chance to make some real noise here.

Once Perkins and Leo Martinez are promoted, along with maybe Hightower and Gaxiola...who knows what happens. Too bad Eckstein won't be joining Perkins. Saddens me. But we might call up Henry Rodriguez to be our left handed DH. Allende has done a nice job against lefties, but isn't doing so well against righties. The platoon opportunity is too obvious.

Hightower and Gaxiola will have to impress quickly or we will be in the market for another starter. We might be in the market now. Depends.

Oh and Wilkinson and the LSU Tigers are 2007 CWS Champions.

4-3 sim, but the Dinos just flew up through the standings going 10-0 in their last ten, putting us in second place for the first time in a while this year.

We're struggling a bit at the plate, and poor Ortega has been pitching really well but has a ton of losses this year due to a lack of support from the offense.

                Things are going as expected.

                Got us a 5th top 100 prospect. That's nice.
