    Spoiler

For us, it'll be an interesting season. With Cash out until July, we'll continue to look into adding an impact hitter at 1B or in the OF (22-27) through a trade. If you have anyone, PM me. We have all our 1sts and now the #2 system.

We're going to have some growing pains next season as we begin to start a mini-youth movement, but the future is bright with 12 Top 100 prospects and a few more just on the outside of the list. Not bad for a 97 win team. It'll be interesting to see what happens without Manhos, Perales, and Watts. Manhos and Watts were pretty much gone after this coming season. I hope the younger guys continue to improve and I can get some overachiever seasons from my vets.

I think we might take a step back a bit, but I think we were going to anyway. Perales had a career year and Manhos and Watts would've been a season older. I'll cross my fingers and hope we can at least keep pace with Pat this season and shoot for the WC again.

Um, can a commissioner help me here?

Last sim, our budget room was over $300K in the green.

Now we're $13.6 million in the red, and can't sign anyone.

That same page says we had a profit of over $54 million this season.

Our market size just increased and the arbitration numbers are the same.

          It doesn't make sense.

Did my owner cut our budget by eight figures after winning a title?

          Help?

Not really sure. Try adjusting your scouting and developmental budget? Are the Arb numbers really high?

The arbitration numbers are almost exactly as projected the previous sim and for most of the season, and less than eight figures anyway.

Is my owner trying to pull a Florida Marlins? I don't understand.

Even dumping all that salary and declining Torres' 25m I am having the same issues.

Even if that were the case, then we--what--don't extend anyone and hope for the best?

Yikes. Our payroll went up about 20 million over what it was projected, according to HTML.

Oh yeah, I'm not extending anyone. That's why. You could pull money out of PD and scouting as a temp fix. I was confused by my financials also. Does the game hold back money until arby is over? That would make sense for me.

Not really sure Z but from the financial page it seems okay to me.

                            Budget for 07: $122m

                            Payroll for 07: $112m
                            Coaches for 07: $7m
                            Scout/Dev for 07: $10m

You're over already and you're paying Hern, Brown, Pang, and Fisher $80m alone, with them making $25m more in '07 than '06.

For money for extensions there's a weird stretch of off-season where it uses the 2007 projected payroll instead of 2008. I think it fixes it when FA's file or January 1st.
