I exported anyway. This isn't gonna make or break us anyway. So I'm good to go whenever. Former Washington Bat castoff Napoleon "Thunder" Mendoza is gonna get his shot. The former 9th round pick was picked up 5 years ago and here is filling in the biggest shoes in the business. He was the AAA player of the year in 2004 at the age of 21 so who knows. Maybe we'll catch lightning in a bottle.

Well that was unexpected.
I was sure we'd lose at least 1 to Philly. Either way, the boys played very well the final week, posting a sizzling 1.87 ERA.
Our consolation prize will be an early first round exit by way of broom. Good year Matt. Your guys just had that championship hangover. Your Team is still young sand you still have a top minor league system so we had to try and sneak one in while we still can.
I can't believe Al Hamilton and Artie Clemons got injured. Great timing guys
Anyway, went 7-2 against Maine this year but that was with the two guys above in the lineup. Let's see how this goes, its a toss-up as far as I'm concerned.
So, what a year this has been. Pretty mediocre season, in fact, we were only clear in the Pilsner by 4 games just two sims ago, before finishing strong, 13 games ahead of Indy.
What a year for former 6th round pick Bobby Tiscareno. As I always mention, Delandis never even gave him a sniff for his Minor League players to watch column! Yet the guy leads the BLB in OBP, OPS, wOBA, WAR, and finishes 2nd in AVG and 5th in SLG%. A machine!
Another wrinkle in this run for us... our 2006 first round pick, Zach Oldham, has actually made the playoff roster due to an injury to Antonio Torres. Oldham didn't get the call up until after Sept 1st, but makes the first round roster as an injury replacement. Hit .287 in 129 AB's and played solid D, has plus speed, and will lead off for us in Game 1 as a 21 year old rookie.
Good luck mwetts, you should roll.
