Congrats to Pat, great season. Like I said, you're uncatchable and probably the favorite again to win it all this season. If people value the lives of puppies, they will stop trading you younger players and prospects and let your core age out.

Bring the Stout another fair title. I will be ready to keep you honest next season - most of my team is back and I have some nice young players on the way in the next 2 seasons in Bell, Pulido, Garza, Navarette, Berry and Gomez. It's disappointing to win about 98 games and miss the playoffs.

Interested to see how Windy City and Davenport plays out. IL playoff previews coming this weekend. I wonder if Batavia recaptures last season's post season magic this week. If Taylor doesn't get hurt, this is even more of a race.

On a puppy killing note, I'm open to moving some vets to make a mini youth movement. Tex Watts, Manhos, Salcedo, Perales, Hoffman - all on the block. I would like to add picks since we will need to reload this system a bit.

It's not over until it's over.

You could sweep me. That is possible. And then you play three against Wilmington who has won two out of their last 11 games. I then play Morgantown who last time we played swept me in a four game series...in Washington. It's a long shot but it's not over just yet.

However, I will likely make the post-season, as the Stout winner or a potential Wildcard. I think this team has the right parts to win it all but we have seen in the past that sometimes the best team doesn't win in the playoffs and there is always an early upset. Fortunately four of my batters are on fire right now and my pitching rotation will be in a rested order.

Very unlikely. We were never able to make a move all season, won't change this week 5 back.

I thought we changed it a few seasons ago, but could not remember.

Brad is going to run the sim since Bat/Balt play for the Porter. A big thanks to Brad.

Also since all teams are basically locked does anyone have any objections to a tomorrow AM sim? We are ready to go. Obviously if so we'll wait. I figured only playoff teams who wish to rest players would need time.

Carolina doesn't need to make any changes unless Davenport wants to bribe me.

                  I'll have an export in.

We really had a chance to move things this week but we literally dropped the ball in a few games. I-po Wu pitched his ass off against Washington and Cali, though. Looks like he's ready to start next year. Now we just need to stay at least -2 behind Batavia when we face Philly and then we give ourselves a chance to win the Porter.

I'm going to try to sink your battleship. We don't necessarily have the ammunition on hand to do so, but we're going to give it everything we've got.

We hit 8 HR's this SIM . . .and scored 16 total runs. I guess that's what a .256 OBP will get you.

That 4-2 sim reduces our magic number to one, all but locking up the DL Wild Card.

Now let's stay healthy for one more week.

Also, my scout reports that Ray "Voodoo" Davila's contact potential improved to a 7, putting his potential ratings at 7/5/6/5/4. Not bad for a catcher! I'm glad I traded up for him.

We're limping along here. We got a good shot to win the division, get the wildcard, or miss the playoffs. Crazy final week coming up.

In other news I think it's time to launch an official investigation into Pawtuckets obvious tanking practices bringing a smudge onto the league.
