If we miss out on a bonafide ace with the first overall pick, I'm going to punch this roster.

Gain no ground on anyone... Which is what I figured. We are a good team, but the other 3 are just better this season.

Something's been off all year I haven't felt good about our chances and now this ices it. Our second SP gone to ulnar nerve irritation...whatever the hell that is. Neal out for the year. I have no choice but to go four man rotation the rest of the way.

In other news, Jamie Herberholtz is amazing. Struck out 15 a week after striking out 17.

First I lose my best reliever, now my best starter. Todd Taylor is out for 4 months but hey, at least we went 5-1 right?

This has been one hell of a roller coaster year. We aren't going to catch the champs but we at least will make them sweat.

Agreed, Andrew. These two have definitely rekindled the spark in the league with consistency and fairness.

Although, Matt did win a chip rather quickly.....j/k. Great job guys.

Looks like I made the right choice bringing up Moon and Burrows as they are killing it for me. Fink and Gregg are struggling mightly with BLB hitting. Wonder if I should just shut those two down or see if they do better the last two weeks.

Damn, Norm Sutton pitched eight brilliant innings in his final start at New York, but got no run support. 8 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K.

We went 3-3, and of course, all three losses came by one run.

Wow, 6-0 week to finally get on the right side of .500. Rich Pena has been outstanding since his call up and really added a boost to our lineup. We're not on Pittsburgh or Maine's level yet but I'm really excited about the potential of this team for next season.

Camilo has had a monster 2nd half of the season. 27 HR's since July 1st and is now within striking distance of the single season HR record.

Can't say enough about last year's waiver claim Antonio Solano. Since coming over to California he's hit .341 with 45 2B, in just 138 games.
