We're fighting for our playoff lives. We're on pace to win 102 games. To do that and not go to the playoffs in the in the wild card era would be disappointing. That's life in the IL though.

In other news, we signed Travis Fisher to a lucrative (hopefully for both of us) extension.
And Norm Sutton announced he'll retire at the end of the season. We called him up from AAA when the rosters expanded.
He will make his final career start on Saturday, September 23 on the road at New York, against the organization he spent 15 years with.
