Now nine games off our Pythagorean record, by far the worst in the league. Not trending in the right direction yet.

In other news, we signed Travis Fisher to a lucrative (hopefully for both of us) extension.

And Norm Sutton announced he'll retire at the end of the season. We called him up from AAA when the rosters expanded.

He will make his final career start on Saturday, September 23 on the road at New York, against the organization he spent 15 years with.

Very very interesting happenings in IL. I'm not sure when the season started people saw this coming.

Possible surge might be happening in the DL wildcard as well.

In other news: I'm not sure Denver is going to hold the 1 pick.

Z always has a flair for the retiring dramatic.

In other news Haraguchi hit's 2 HR's and drives in 9 runs in 7 games...and is #6 on the Top Players list. Now because I waited the kid won't be playoff eligible (I think) if he ends up leading us there.

Great job managing on this one.

Got swept all four games at home vs. Morgantown...then won two of three against Windy City.

The Stout lead is down to two games and my team is really struggling. Not...good.

4-3 this sim but most importantly we took 2 out of three from Windy City and end this with a one game lead over them for the division title. I really don't see it holding up in the stretch run but we can always dream!

Haha. How do we go 1-6 and you creep closer? Your team might be worse than mine.

On paper it is for sure. You can't stop our momentum!

                    Remaining schedules.

                    Washington: 3 @ DAV, 3 @ CAL, 3 vs. BAL, 4 vs. WIL, 3 @ MOR
                    Death Valley: 3 @ LAM, 3 vs. CAR, 3 vs. CAL, 3 vs. MOR, 3 @ WIL

Forget home/roads and remove common opponents. I have three against IL best Davenport and three against north of .500 Baltimore. You play Los Alamos who hasn't exported in weeks and Carolina, the IL's worst team.

With only two games separating us, I'd be lucky to be tied with you after that grouping.

I will probably have to sweep our last three-game series to have a chance.

I guess we will see, though it's never easy to come from as far back as we have and actually pull it off.

Saw that Oto is second in the BLB with 2 strike Rbi's. So I started looking and he is batting a cool .600 with the bases loaded.
