We're eight games off our Pythagorean record after this week. I have to hope we start winning more of those close games in October. The additions of JJ Black and Dusty Durham might help our bullpen lead us there.

We moved to a six-man rotation for September to save our arms some wear and tear. Trying to preserve our lineup too with selective rest.

      Pawtucket won 2 games.

2 back from the #1 pick. Lets do this boys.

      The Bock race is amazing.

I'll root for the DL as always in the Brewmaster, but I'm not really seeing it again. We have become the AFC from the 80's:(((((((

If we lose the Porter we lose the Porter...that's how I feel when our highest paid player (Hardwick) is now on the bench after hitting .206/.300/.309 when he hit .257/.373/.515 last season.

We just can't hit this season.

6-1 for the Brawlers this week. Kept pace with Windy City and the wildcard lead went up by half a game to 5 games. Big series coming up in Windy City next week!

We are toast. If anyone wants to talk trade for offseason hit me up. We are going to focus on making another push with a bit of a youth movement.

I will be picking up the options on Manhos and Watts if someone wants either.

Danny Salcedo is also available this offseason. Perales too, though probably won't deal both. Same with Hoffman, he will be replaced by Bell so he is available. So are SS Tom Kroeker and 3B Travis Jimenez (Alex Gomez is coming up).

I will also listen on Wences to make room for Pulido/Poe.

I had hoped we would make the playoffs, but DAV played at a higher level and we had a tough pyth/1 run season. Our future looks pretty good though.

2-4 sim visiting Wilmington and Death Valley. Add injury to insult, star SS Antonio Cardenas missed the whole week, and next week, with a knee contusion. My infield has been lacking all season, this means more at bats for Cy Gray and Orlando Saucedo...yay!

I don't know what happened to SP Travis DuFour. Last start in July is one of the best for the season: 9 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K against the Playboys... Since then he has lost five of his six decisions and his ERA and WHIP the past two months is 6.914 and 1.67 in August, 8.71 ERA and 1.94 in September. I mean, if he is playing hurt, diagnose that shit!

Pat Ladd is on fire. He's going to have to carry us while Cardenas is out.

                      We be losing.

The dreaded month-to-month shows it's ugly face.

Now McPherson is stroking in September meanwhile Verba forgot how to hit after winning player of the month. Never fails.

That's a lot this late... You, Jistic or DAV would need to collapse over 3 weeks. Not that likely.

Why do you keep saying Davenport? Your actually chasing two teams. Davenport might win the Bock. Someone is going to beat up on somebody this week.

We still have games left and your schedule is much easier than mine. I'd love to say it is wrapped up but I think it will come down to the final sim.
