A rough week at home. Raulo is out for the year now, plus Jerry Brown is hurt. The injuries don't stop this year.

Jamie Herberholz and Alec Bragg were ejected in the 3rd inning for igniting a bench-clearing brawl.

Pawtucket firmly in the 2 spot. Not sure where our other first will go yet, but probably slightly past mid round.

          Some prospects news:

(AAA) 3B Tyler Clarkson batting .290/ OPSing around .750 which is about what you'll get from a singles hitter and more importantly his walks/ strike out ratio has really improved. Pretty much is ready to start in 2007 with a September call up expected. Will be 25 next season.

(AAA) 2B/SS Tony Infante .323 / OBP .421 and generally improved in every cat since making the move to Lynn. Like to him get the 6's in both contact and SS rating and he will only to be 22 to start 2007. Going to be very hard to keep down in AAA by 2007 mid season. Patience kid.

(AAA) C Todd Robideau is just ripping the cover off the ball OPS .933 and just hit homeruns 19-20 as AAA season comes to an end. Again only 22 right now it's getting really difficult to keep him down at any by mid 2007 in the BLB. Actually debuted last season due to a ton of injuries and held his own. Even stat was really improved his ability to draw walks. Again not so fast kid.

So we have a nice start Infield wise to Pawtucket 3.0 so now we need to land pitcher or two (or 5). Hoping with the all the draft picks we can figure it out and with our salary being so low a lucky INTL free agent dice roll would be nice(we seem due)

          Fun times.

We aren't trying to lose and get a number one pick, but, you see, my roster is awful.

I'll take another big pick. Hoping we end up with our own Coma.

Perkins is still sidelined so his average sits at an impressive .397 in AAA.

Bigger for us is William Eckstein is up to .365 in AAA. Each was drafted this year so maybe we seem both of them in 2007.

Thought my rotation would consist of Tamieke, Melgoza and Carter alongside Mueller.

It looks like it could be Tamieke, Mueller, Goodhart, Hightower and possibly Gaxiola and Adamson. There are some strides forward with Melgoza and Carter but it's not enough.

Just need to find four guys within that group of names that can keep us in games.

ALso it's the A and AA playoffs. Time to see if my little Bulls can keep playing at the level they played in all year. The AA team played .700 baseball and the A ball team played .642.

AAA is nearly complete and that squad is at .595.

Any reason why we went to one-game series in A and AA?

AA and AAA were always short series. Just made everything the same a few seasons ago. We can extend the formats if so desired but AAA needs to stay put for call-ups.

No it would have been a race if I could have managed to win one of those two games. This makes it a "heated" rivalry!

Saw you had WC tied going in to those 2 games.

They will have your number for a season or 2. Growing pains.
