We have been a slightly better than .500 team since June. I have a feeling we're gonna miss the playoffs. This team has just been off all year. Too many players having either really bad career years or they're just beginning to get worse way too young. This team is in a funk and I keep waiting for something to happen but it doesn't. I'm ready to either have the roof collapse on us or blow through it.

2-4 sim. Not good with Death Valley showing some life with a 5-1 week. Stout lead is now down to six games.

Dave D'Orio made one hell of a debut however. Got at least one hit in every game going 10/22 with a 1.231 OPS in his first week with Washington.

Cy Gray returned from injury this sim and BJ Jobe will return in next weeks sim.

Messed up with my 7-day lineup I guess as my final game of the sim the CPU started a RP despite my #1 SP being fully rested.

Last 2 weeks making a run. 6-1 with a BAT road sweep. A season too late. Halved the DAV lead to 3. Ian Reynolds belts 6 homers this week.

McPherson and Verba are off the Top 100.

Perkins is now our top hitting prospect. He isn't hitting .400 anymore because he's only hitting .389 in August and his average has dropped to .391. Pretty amazing stuff.

5-1 week. We've been on a real roll. We cut the Ale division deficit to 11 and a half games and now lead the Wild Card race by seven and a half.

Lost Joey Simpson for the rest of the season. We'll call up Jamie Ohmer- he's extremely atypical for me in that he has crappy control but he throws real hard. His strikeout numbers in the minors are ridiculous and he's skyrocketing up prospect rankings- now a Top 15 prospect. He's 25 so its time to see how he does in the bigs.

A 4-2 week for the Brawlers. Wildcard lead dropped to 3 games but we pulled within 1.5 games of the Playboys so things are getting interesting as we enter August.

                    Pawtucket 3-3.

Minor league system up to 13th! See if we can get some extra players to help out the next few seasons.

Seems 4 teams will be duking it out for the top pick this season.
