3-3. Another mediocre week. I'm not sure I have a fix this season. If we can't keep up with DAV, we may need to sell off some pieces at the deadline and regroup for next season.

If you're interested in anyone, let's talk.

      SALE SALE SALE!

We have two brooms we would like to sell after they were provided to us as a gift for attempting to play baseball this past week.

If anyone is in need of a broom, please inquire at the Denver Front Office.

      Thank you.

Poor Early. What a stud he's been.

I hear the chants already though...

Goto is for sale. Here's your chance to sign him at a good price before he hits free agency and demands the moon. This is a unique chance to land an elite .300 hitting catcher!

The $2M dollar man Travis Connolly is available too. He's on pace to hit 42 home runs in our god awful ballpark. Just imagine what he could do in your lineup.

Come one, come all. It's the maple syrup sale of a lifetime.

4-2 against SYR and INDY. Highlight of the week was definitely SP Tyler Kling. The rookie hurler struck out 14 in 7 innings against one of the DL's best lineups. After a shaky start he's been in command this month. It looks like he may fit in this rotation nicely.

No update on chasing history. Frantz still at 13 needing 17 to tie the record. He didn't play as much this week due to inter-league play.

Pawtucket 3-3. Whatever. Its good to see cast-off Ron Lauber (.324ave/ .823ops) is looking more and more like a sure ROY candidate?

Down on the farm, Todd Robideau quickly rejoins the top 100 list and pretty sure
SS Tony Infante finds his way up by seasons end. Add in RF Tommy Van Leer (#20) suddenly our future offense might be taking shape early.

3-3. We go toe-to-toe with the DL's best team and manage to sneak out with 2 out of 3 but go to Pawtucket and lose the series? Really? It is that stupid Anti-Baltmore park of theirs. That or Americo Sopas may just be wearing out his welcome in Baltimore. Either way, we backed our way into a tie for first and have a big divisional week coming up with 3 big ones at home vs. Cali and 3 even bigger ones in Lawrence Stadium.

In the Pawtucket series, Todd Taylor (SP) threw 11 K and still lost. This is the 2nd time this year he's hurled 10+K and ended up with a loss. The offense has to do better.

No the greatest place to run with lefty hitters. Don't worry, it pissed me off also. This team should not be winning games yet we are 12-9 this month.

                  The game has ghosts.

Wildcard is WIDE open in the DL. Obviously its your only way in now, but you should be fighting for it til the end.

A 5-1 week for the Brawlers with only an extra inning loss to Dallas to spoil a perfect week. Rodriguez back to form and Patterson seems to warming up finally so maybe the offense will be more consistent. Tough going next week with Washington and Morgantown coming up.
