2006 Regular Season 9 SIM Complete - Next SIM Tuesday 04/22

Dave Adamson continues to overcome the odds. He's made an All Star Team in AA and now he's the seventh Denver prospect in the top 100. Closing in on 200 points.

We also had eight AA All-Stars. Nice.

Just got some time to look through today's sim. Nice series Pat. I don't know what the deal is with this team, but I'm pretty sure we don't catch WAS. Looks like another one of those strong years for Pat. We better right this ship quickly or DAV is going to get away from us too. Our bullpen is blowing it and our line-up doesn't seem to want to get going all at once. Cash is playing amazing, but he's now dinged up.

We aren't winning the close games we did last year. I just hope we get out of this month in shouting distance of the wildcard.

Good to see SP Nick Cortes pitching well for Davenport...strategery.

Yeah, I feel like this group has a lot going for it this year. Getting career years from a good handful of guys and with the recent changes to the infield makes the defense top notch again. I could use help at catcher and 2B, but at least they are defensive studs.

Raulo Gutierrez defies Father Time like no BLB pitcher I've seen in years.

2.09 ERA last year at almost 39 years old.

This year, he's 5-1 with a 3.28 ERA, working deep into games, and he turns 40 in August.

If you can keep him healthy, he should net you something decent at the trade deadline.

If I could keep anyone on my team healthy, I wouldn't need to trade any of my veterans at the deadline.

Two infielders, my center fielder, my best two relievers, and my All-Star catcher.

4-3, split 2 with Davenport and took 2/3 in Babylon.

After sending down the 2005 IL ROY winner, Danny Martinez, we called up former Playboy prospect, Freddy Noell to take over the leadoff spot. All he did was hit .390+ vs RHP in his first week of play. Nice way to earn a spot, rook.

Also Terumoto Chiba is starting to realize that he CAN play at this level and is really starting to pour it on. He's hitting .329 for the year and has a very respectable 127 OPS+. He even hit his first round tripper this past week.

                Look out IL.
