5-1 sim against two of the DLs best teams. I'll take that any day. Getting it done in all phases. #2 in runs scored, #1 in runs allowed, #1 in defensive efficiency.

Pawtucket 2-4 against what's becoming two elite teams now in the Bock.

Both should be ashamed to even lose a game to us.

It's fun having a race early on in the Bock. Davenport looks legit so far.

4-2 sim. Should have Herberholtz extended next sim. Liam Ingle debuts on the top players list and Victor Robles finally comes back from the DL. We're at full strength now, looks like we'll need to be. Tweaked the bullpen a little bit as they're killing us. Also gotta get a whole lot better on the road.

4-2 for the Brawlers but it looks like we are going to lose Rodriguez for a bit again after making a big splash on his return from the DL

4-2 as expected but somehow we are still in it after 1.5 months.

We are succeeding mainly based on the unexpected strength of our pitching. Our bullpen has been lights out so far this season and our starters have been better than average. I'm particularly impressed with the performance of Sadaharu Katsura (SP) who has played so much better than expected since his torn labrum injury in 2004. We've also gotten a nice early season start by waiver pickup, Zack Greenwood (OF). I was hoping just to get some power inserted into the lineup but he's managed to hit nearly .350 in albeit, limited appearances. He was very impressive as a pinch hitter and when we moved him to start this last sim, he continued to hit well.

Now I know its still very early, but its nice to still be in the hunt for a Porter crown, especially since I thought we'd be 10-12 games out by now.

The Pat Bryant "Countdown to Destruction" Show has finally started. He went 5 innings with a win but got roughed up. I really hate playing California. My lifetime record vs. can't be good.
