        Ecstatic to get Pat Knight. Costly, but he will step into the closer role. With Romero as the setup, we feel we have one of the best in the league at each role.

              As long as opening day isn't before 4/3, I'm good with the sim schedule. I would hate to still be out of town when I need to make roster decisions. Waives...cuts...demotions...lineup/depth settings...injuries...

              In typical fashion the Bats sign about 50 minor leaguers...about three will make the minor league system. Wish I had some money to spend...still some talent left. And...I have gone 0-for-2 on my scout attempts..and of course the guy I released got scooped up as well. The era is over and Washington is falling apart.

                Opening Day should be Friday 4/3.

                ST will either be Mon/Wed or Tues/Wed.
