  • Who's your worst player?

Since my team has been miserable so far and I have another 5 sims until the #1 pick, I was bored. You can only pick one.

Mine's definitely Antonio Boltares, In his last start he only gave up 5 ER (8 R total) in 4.2 innings and lowered his ERA. His ERA dipped to a new low of 10.88, his WHIP is 2.33. Lefties are hitting .424 against him on the season and LH and RH are combined for an OPS circa 1.150 against him.

I have a long list of hitters to choose from, but so far it has to be my newly acquired catcher, Dave Beacham. So far he is hitting .179/.233/.179. I figured he'd respond well to a chance to start but apparently he's having a little trouble adjusting.

Tough call between Joe "The Arsonist" McKeag and my 3B, but I'll go with the 3B.

With 5 regulars batting under .200, this is a tough call, but I'll go with my 2B Tomas Cirlos, whos at .157/.202/.348. Sure he hits a couple homeruns every now and then, but....

Either him or my 1B Val Kelley, .176/.211/.259. He's up for a free agency, thank god.

Looks like I was wrong about mine. Joe Vargas has the 2nd worst VORP among hitters. I guess it's not good for your cleanup hitter to have a -7.9 VORP...

                    http://ootp.oldredboat.com/reports/p...layer_923.html

Ken Freestone for Davenport has the lowest VORP at -8.0, hitting a whopping .056 in 36 AB.

He basically comes in when we are already getting lit up. He just adds gasoline. But yes, he will be in the minors... I just keep forgetting to do so.

My entire starting staff is at or below the VORP Mendoza line.

According to VORP, mine is MR Eric Davis. 6 ER in 3 innings. I can tell that I'm going to spend a lot of my draft picks on pitching/middle relief.
