Spoiler
Maine vs. Pittsburgh is Game 1. I also assume though that Syracuse has to play Indy...but that game isn't on the schedule. So once Maine and Pitt are in we will sim. I will be able to sim tonight around 6 PM PCT if both are in. If sooner and Brad can then have at it.
We went 6-0 two weeks ago, then last week got creamed by DVS and ended up 3-4 for the week. Turned it around though and enter the postseason hot.
This week we sweep Philly and would have loved to help Baltimore knock out DC but since we hadn't clinched I couldn't make any changes prior to the sim. Long story short we score 3 in the 8th in Game 1, 6 in the 7th and 8th in Game 2, and 5 in the 7th and 8th of Game 3 to sweep Baltimore and send DC to the playoffs.
We end up with 102 wins, the most in franchise history, and now onto the playoffs. I'm not sure how it works but hopefully we don't play DVS since they owned us this year. We have 5 players "hot" but sadly two of them (Hardwick and Crespin) are both hurt and out of the playoffs.
Pawtucket 3-4. Just seemed the final month we had nothing left in the tank. It happens.(no idea why Hartford had my number this season. 88 wins nothing to be ashamed of. Actually ended up with the 4th best record in the DL. Time to move on to the future.

I'll be writing this up over the weekend.
PAWTUCKET PATRIOTS Brewmaster's Cup Champions 2010, 2013, 2014, 2016 DL Champions 91, 03, 04, 10, 13, 14**,16,17 Ale Champions 92, 93, 94, 02, 03, 04, 10, 11, 13, 14**, 16, 17, 18 Wildcard 91, 95, 12
Ya you are right UMD. Because you and the wildcard are in the same division then it changes everything. So I really screwed myself by not letting Baltimore in. We had much more success against WC.
Just finished. Went day by day through the sim. Checked box scores for the DL games, watched the Baltimore games a half inning at a time and watched the replays on all my games. Very intense and a lot of fun.
More on the games later. Good luck in the Lonnie Coleman's! Sorry Delandis.

River Ross isn't just a setup man. Not only is he the longest tenured Guide, but he went to fucking high school in Maine. He's been pitching in Maine or for our organization since 1989 when he was 15 years old.
And Rex is Rex. We were trying to win it for him this year. It's a shame he won't be able to play in this next series.
Hate to say it, but that was an almost Baltimore-like collapse...
But seriously getting swept by Pittsburgh and then not taking care of business against lowly Hartford...combined with the injuries...does not bode well for you. There is a lot riding on this Lonnie Coleman game in my mind. The victor, plays the winner of the Pilsner, which will be the lowest rated team in the playoffs. The loser, plays New Orleans who despite losing BJ Crudge for 1-2 weeks, still has arguably the most formidable 1-2 in the DL with Curtiz and Martinez, and they will be rested.
I think you could win the Lonnie Coleman... beat the Pilsner winner and when healthier, win the entire DL against Pitt or New Orleans.... Or you could lose the LC game, and lose in the first round.
Again, congratulations to Delandis on the great year. You seriously made me work for that down the stretch and instead of a mini-rebuild, I think your team has a run in them the next few years. The trades you made were very impressive all things considered. You earned a Top 3 GM of the Year vote from me.
By the way...is voting enabled after LC games?
