4-3 sim. Lost a series to WAS, but maintain that 17 game lead and still up 4 on Windy City.

We make a trip to my old friends in the Ale. A return to Hartford and then an old rivalry with Pitt. We're back at full strength too, which is plus.

Not quite a "nail in the coffin" and I think his team is deep enough to stay competitive but he has had some shitty luck with injuries this year.
Always thought the guy will/would do relly well for another team if he didn't have to start half of his games at our place. His home road splits have been like that ever since he made the BLB. Pitchers without powerful stuff struggle in our park.

              Just saw this.

Hopefully its not more than a couple weeks. He's been damn good this year. He's been a pretty durable player over the years but has had nagging shoulder injuries but I'm hoping its just a mild muscle strain or something like that.

In other news, Sadaharu Katsura hasn't given up an earned run in the last 22 IP, including a CG shut out of Cali. This game knows how to bait you into buying fool's gold.

Its kinda of funny to watch Pat explain things to himself.

I'm not sure what that means? I have always embraced hitting and have some really good hitters but they have been hurt most of the year (Gamboa 9 months, Hildago 4 weeks, Griffiths 11 weeks, Schubert 6 weeks, Gentry 3 weeks, Race 3 months, Flint 8 weeks). And give up on pitching by going and getting worse pitchers? I don't get it.

Lucky to be 2.5 out actually at this point.

At least we swept NO. Goto is back in a week to hopefully boost the offense. But he's returning from a hand injury so interested to see how quickly he becomes his old self again.

Manny Saenz makes a big jump into the top prospects list. Quietly we've crept up to #5 in the top systems. Pretty happy about that considering all the players we had lose their prospect status in the last few years.
