Danny recovered from his All-Star game shame to get his 11th win with an 11-1 victory over Philly. 7.1 IP, 10K, 1 ER.

    Sorry IL.

The Tommy Poe magic is gone... 9 ER in 9 IP. His career is over. On a brighter note 3-1 and Manhos is pretty solid. Here comes Washington though and we can't beat WC and they are up next. I've seen this play out many times before in Hartford - makes me worried for the second half.

Good to see The Sheriff register the W for the DL in the All Star Game.

We split with LA, but check out the top of the 3rd inning of this game:

After sweeping WC, we took 3 of 4 from Cali as Hamilton is FINALLY on the field AND playing at the level we expected. Funny how we actually start winning once we start hitting home runs.

Alvarez is looking better and may be coming out of his slump. If so, we've got a sliver of a chance.

Hell week. 3 @ DVS, then our old nemesis the hated Bats. I don't like what's coming this week.

And Matt don't worry about the All Star game. My pitchers are used to the bullpen blowing games.

                      Victor Robles, 92 RBI's already.

Interesting. Verba jumped McPherson. Mac went to #3 while Verba went from #4 to #2.

Looking at McP's AA stats, honestly a bit worried we are holding him back.
