    This. Prospects are great, but who cares if you're terrible for 10 years to get them all and never win anything? There's plenty of ways to build winning rosters.

    That said, this season is yours to win and probably a bunch more after.

      This league has always been more about "the promise" versus the "here and now". Just how our league is.

      As for the prospect "pts" its still a good indication of the future, but got a little skewed a few versions back when RP started finding its way on the list. Mwetts might correct me on this, but think he had two bullpen arms on his top 100 back when he hit over 300pts. Still a great system, but made me tremble less when I dug deeper at the time.

            Cut 'em some slack, Sully. It was "The Clay Era." Having awesome prospects was the closest thing anyone was getting to winning a championship.
