Somehow, we got wrecked in a two game set at home with Hartford before going to Pittsburgh and winning three of four.

Pat Danford is hurt again, though. This time he has a torn meniscus and will miss a month.

I need someone who can hit righties, so, if you can help, PM me. Said player does not need to be able to play the field.

Hartford is a real pain in the ass this season. Can't seem to handle them.

      Pawtucket 3-3....again.

      Not feeling it.

I'll say it again. I cannot wait til the day comes where we leave this garbage version of OOTP behind. This is the worst version in years. Love the fact that I have JJ Black set to MR and use "more often" and everyone else set to normal and "less often" and he's pitched 1/3 of an inning...IN THREE WEEKS!

We found some real interesting ways to lose games this week including giving up 5 unearned runs in the 9th to Cali to blow a game. Lot's of unearned runs this week. Also Herberholtz set the BLB record with 9 walks against Baltimore. I think we really need this all star break to give our guys a rest and beat the crap out of our manager who obviously cannot run bullpen.

ON a good note we did get 8 all stars. Most I think we've ever had in one year.

5 Allstars for Pawtucket and Babilio looks like a Stout Slugger candidate.

Summary: Pawtucket right now is a team of individuals.

We go 2-4 into the break dropping both to WAS and splitting MOR. Batavia and WC are right on top of us. Hope we hold on and don't fall apart. Hell of a turn around for us though. I never thought we could get this competitive this quickly after the purge.

6 allstars in Lindsey, Manning, Fajardo, Salcedo, Watts and Cash. 4 holdovers and 2 trade acquisitions. Not bad.

The longer we hang around, the tougher it gets for me to leave Reeves, Duffy, and Wentworth at AAA.

Looks like our tweaks to the lineup took as we go 4-2 for the week including a 3-game sweep of the Bock leading, Playboys.

Alvarez still hasn't found his swing, but if he's going to continue to have a .457 OBP (June) without the batting average to match, I'll still take it.

Demoted a couple of guys after a poor showing in the first half, including Rueben Mendoza (SP) who was expected to be a #2 or #3 for us this year. Luckily, we've gotten decent production from waiver acquisition, Dave Ayers. 26 year old starter, Jimmy Whitworth got the call last week and will share time with lefty reliever, Joey Linn for those 5th and 6th positions in the starting rotation for the 2nd half.

Congratulations to ROY candidate, Danny Martinez for making the All-Star game in his first year.

There was a mixup with my file on Monday AM's sim and the roster limit wasn't set to 25 at A.

It has been set to 25 now and these teams are currently over:

                    Pawtuckett (31)
                    Baltimore (26)
                    LAM (38)
                    Chicago (27)

Please have them cleaned up for Friday AM's sim. Thanks!

I don't know about you guys, but I kind of like the auto selection of All-Stars. Seemsore impartial and The anticipation of who gets selected is greater. Plus, I never was a big fan of "every team MUST be represented in the game."

I think the general consensus is it's kinda interesting...makes for some chatter. Also not having to track down managers for picks and making people get their votes in is nice for the commish.

Yeah, I was at 25 until this past sim.

Pawtucket held its annual first week of July draft.

Some neat bumps by my scout last sim with these guys.

We've been playing better baseball in over a month. Interesting pick ups are doing interesting pick up things.

I agree. As we were outscoring you 27-5 in that 3-game series, I said to myself, "This is a better team than we played last time." Kudos to you for turning things around.
