    That's weird...my export didn't take...

    However, I went 5-2.

For some reason it said Wrong Date. I tried to import it manually as well. Sorry man.

As for us...2-2 vs Washington, 0-3 vs. the Scorps. Our first losing sim of the year. We aren't as good as our record indicated so maybe we'll settle out a little now. The ghost of Clay still resides in DV as we still can't win there.

At least Victor Alvarez appears to be shaking off his 2004 hangover. First good week of the season.

Wow... looks like Quinn and Lucca have decided the start playing baseball this season. Pawtucket 5-2.

Crazy. Completely different team I saw from April.

3-3. Managed to take 2 of 3 from the Guides to salvage the week. Barely holding on to first. We finally got to see Turcotte make his Dallas debut this week. Should help the offense some. Hopefully we can add another bat in the next week or two.

3-3 for Davenport but those 3 losses included two games blown late by my bullpen, including an 8 run eigth to Windy City. Going to have to take a look at making some changes there.

                      Batavia 33-18

                      2-2 vs Wash
                      0-3 vs. DV

Thank goodness we get a day off. We played 23 of the last 24 days and finished another 7 game week by dropping all 3 to the Scorpions. We just aren't good enough to play the best team in the league with two tired position players and an exhausted pitching staff. It didn't help that Crespin went down with an injury so we lost our only IF sub. Excuses, excuses though...DV is better plain and simple.

Our bats were what did us in as we hit .231/.285/.368 for the week with 18 BB's and 55 K's! Our poor pitching staff boasted the 3rd best overall ERA with a 2.45 and poor Dewitt Pierce went 0-2 with a 1.93 ERA.

Cali is creeping in the rear view and it's going to be close. I still think they are the better team and we might have to fight Washington and Davenport for the WC. At least we are only +1 though so it gives hope that we're not totally overshooting our potential right now.

So after playing the best team in the league we now get to play 3 more on the road at the second best, Windy City. Then finally we get to come home to play Carolina. Would love to see a winning sim but I'll settle for 3-3 if the bats come back. If not another 2-4 or worse.

                        2-4. Not too bad.

Raulo Gutierrez will miss a few weeks, which means Twinkle Toes will get a couple starts in his absence.

Danford's out this week too, so Beast will get some extra at-bats.

*We are now 26-3 at home.
