I didn't know...knew I had to outbid someone. You got the better player in the end but I'll hold out hope.

We spent years hitting singles. It's nice to have 4 legitimate HR guys.

Its funny my replacement players (Jimenez, Gould & Bablio) have performed better then who started 2003.

Its my regulars who got off to such SHITTY start.

Wonder if older teams start out slower???

Grinded out a series win against Baltimore then get swept by Maine. Somehow the Guides were able to turn two bases loaded double plays in the first two games, really hurt us.

Our bats have gone cold. Looking to deal some of our bullpen depth for BLB IF/OF help.

Not personally, since you are in a group of people. Just bitter. I knew he would do well in the IL and no one believed me. Unfortunately the "proof" that he would do well was gone. Last year I noticed that every time he pitched with no DH he was lights out. I should have traded him then but he would have flashes....So in the end it's more a shot at me than anything.

Big Jon will be fine. He's always been streaky. He's never gonna be a high OPS guy. But his OPS+ is currently at 111 and that isn't terrible at all. Even with a slow start he's still on pace for 26 HR's. Once he hit's his hot streak that number will go up.

Was surprised to sweep DVS. We still are struggling in 1 run games. Our PYT -5 which is very high for this early in the season. The numbers say that won't last which is a good thing.

Still three weeks til Liam Ingle returns. However Fernando Ortiz could be budding into a star. He's currently on pace to bat .346, hit 34 HR's, 107 Walks, 217 Hits, and steal 77 bases. He plays both 2B and SS and is only 23. He's gonna cool down soon but I'm hoping he can string this along for another couple weeks til Ingle returns. Travis Krummen has filled in nicely though as well hitting .343 in limited AB's.

Huge 4 game series at a Washington team that's most likely gonna erupt soon. We have been crap on the road and our recent history against them is not good. Expecting to lose 3 or 4 there.

4-2 for the Brawlers. Go 2-1 against Pittsburgh and Washington with some though our run scoring is still feast or famine. Starting pitching seems to be holding up well and will look better if we ever get a little more consistent in providing some run support.
