Sorry fellas, Goto wont be a free agent after this season. Was able to get a one year extension done. His demands are ASTRONOMICAL and we have literally been going back and forth since spring training.

    On the diamond..

Took a series vs Los Angeles which is nice. We could have swept them but lost a close game in extras. Morris and Lona are the biggest pains in the ass ever.

We then ran into the red hot Muckdogs. Was happy to avoid the sweep and grab one win. We also lost another one run game to them.

Our number 5 starter Willhoite is down on the DL for 4 months with a bad shoulder. The injury occurred against LA in about the 2nd or 3rd inning, so Webster came in for long relief and had a nice outing. It was enough to push him back into our rotation.

Thank god for Val Aparicio putting it together thus far. Without him our rotation would be off to an even worse start.

Happy with the offense... pitching needs to pick it up. Just need to keep Batavia in our sights until we start clicking... it's going to be hard though as that 6 game lead is pretty massive already.

We somehow went 3-3, but we were really bad. Pitching is awful right now.

I could possibly splice them together? Might work.

It's certainly worth exploring at the very least.

Danny Salcedo cracked the Top Players List. Just caught that. Good for him.

I'm not the resident historian when it comes to this league, but has anyone else ever stayed this good after that many serious injuries? Not to mention the fact that he'll turn 35 this year. It's really kind of hard to believe.

He's "only" #3 on the top pitchers list right now, but seriously....wtf.
I'm not sure how it works. Must be an organizational thing. Everytime a pitcher gets an injury for me they lose ratings. Every good pitcher we've ever had came from another team because we can't develop them. Hell, the pitchers we have can't wait to get out of here. Dewitt Pierce just had the best sim he's had in 3 seasons. There is obviously something wrong here.
