Didn't have Schubert for half the year last year and now no Gamboa for the entire year... we may never make the playoffs. Fuck.

Rex Morgan is the FA deal of the offseason. Maine has a lot of solid vet pickups this offseason.

Wow our top homerun hitter is our short stop. Nice to see Jon Montalvo with 5 so far for Batavia.

The game itself has a funny sense of humor.

Thank god divisions aren't decided in April & May else we'd never make the playoffs.

Hitting in Maine's RHB friendly park will help but I don't see him hitting better than he did in Syracuse. Not saying it's a bad signing, but I'd temper expectations. He will put buts in seats though.

Smart signing, also blocked Mwetts from a possible injury replacement. We committed to him at first during free agency when we had the money, but changed our minds due to his high expense.

See if we live to regret it.

Don't think we would have gone after him. The injury actually makes a little more flexible in the DH and IF spots. Probably gonna bring up a young guy since some have been looking for an opportunity.

Like I said think you'll be fine.

One the lighter side of sports, Jimmy Lee at first glance didn't look all the hot in AAA until you see he had 16. Lol, not sure I've ever seen 16 walks in one week before.

I've never seen anything like that...since Barry Bonds.

                          In a 4-1 game @ Houston, Lee went 0-1, R, SB, 4 BB - Ridiculous.

Like the rex signing for the price.

But wish we would have seen him during our 3 game sweep of Maine this week.
