  • 2005 Regular Season 1 complete - Next SIM Sun 1/26

    Next SIM: Sun 1/26

    - Files due by 11 am ET | 8 am PT, any later and you run the risk of missing the sim.
    - HTML and utility in a bit

    - Thanks for uploading everyone...made it easy. There were a few DFA issues where I had to release players because all levels were full.

New rule should be to send all teams' DFA issues directly to the Los Alamos A ball team. Help them find an immediate home.

Perales, Santoyo, and Marlin enjoyed their time against Carolina. 6-1 is a solid start for us. Things can change quick though. I love the offensive balance in this line-up.

            Yeah, yeah.

Pawtucket 2-4. One day were gonna do well opening day. That Tom V injury has me a bit worried.

Other then that, pretty sure we won't be batting .187 every sim. Enjoy it Dave.

We went with the bashing recipe this week. 6-1, just trying to keep pace with those Scorpions.

Really liking what I'm seeing with some of our young hitters. I'm looking to see Zamora take another step in his development.

I also think Liam Ingle is gonna have a monster year and really establish himself.

JJ is JJ but we need these other pieces to really grow up this year.

Bullpen was shaky but that happens some weeks. All the more reason we need to score more runs this year. Back into the division this week.

I remember wanting Ingle in his draft class. I've always kept an eye on him and am interested to see how is career plays out.

The Porter is going to beat itself senseless. We'll all finish between 75-85 wins.

I would appreciate if 2 of you decide to rebuild soon.

                    Agreed.

I would rebuild right now, but no one wants my declining players and their bloated contracts.

3-4. We stole one in Indy. Then they stole the next game from us. So that's fair.

Ron Malone threw a complete game loss in his first career start.
                      Tamieke went 2-0.
Marshburn, Ramirez and Duarte hit the ball really well.
                      Ledbetter and Carter got smacked.

                      Business as usual in Denver.

If Ty Arnold pitched every game against Philly, he'd be Pancho Herrera.

Last two times we've faced him:
                        Sep 7 2004 - Arnold fires No-hitter, 6k 2BB
                        Apr 7 2005 - Arnold fires complete game shutout, 6k 0BB

Fun with small samples: We had a team ERA of 3.08 for the first week . . .good enough for 6th in the IL.
