You can do that the entire FA period now...from almost end of the year to beginning of the next.

I know. But I think we are down to our final sim or two for those that haven't got it done...right?

True...and with FA over the money for the year is kinda set.

See Pat is not only winning...but helping everyone else win too.

We brought in Pat Danford on a one-year, $8 million contract to DH for us.

I don't know if we have as much raw power as last year's lineup, but we'll make a lot fewer outs.

Yeah, that's what I mean. I imagine most teams are done spending...so now is the time to dump the remaining funds into scouting and development...unless you want to leave some room so you can do a bailout...which isn't a terrible move.

Pre-season predictions are out...Watch out for Windy City!

Nice pick-up. I had hoped to flip him last year, but he got hurt.

I've been a fan of Danford for years. If I wasn't so logjammed at LF/1B over the past few years, (or if was a DL team), I would have brought him in a long time ago. Good pickup.

Won't matter if we can't win in the post season.

If Mont and Guit hit 40 and 41 HR's I'll be happy.

Still think our pitchers need to grow but if they grow up this year we could be good. Excited about our offense. Really excited to see Crespin come up to the bigs...my scout thinks he's a stud and I remember Pat was interested in him years ago so I know he's going to be good at 3B.

Yeah, it did. I just tried to make changes. I couldn't.

I guess I was one sim late...Oh well, teams definitely have had plenty of time to get those figured out.

                              Bring on the Spring!
