Reyes comes home to Carolina to finish off his career. sad thing is he'll be my #5 hitter.

We add a frontline SP we desperately need over the next 2 seasons in Torrres. He's expensive but we have the money. Also added the best piece of the international class with a contract that works for us. Also now gives us the flexibility to move Sandy Franco or Bill Bonilla (2 talented young pen arms) to acquire a hitter.

Disappointed we missed on Porter, but a Torres, Wences, Lindsey, English rotation is much more solid than what we had.

We still need a bat in the OF or corner IF spot. I think the potential is there for us to make some serious improvement on paper.

If anyone has a mid twenties bat to move I will deal our 1.7 this year and or prospects.

In a small bit of irony Hartford has gotten a gift from us.

I had no idea that players on the DL could get drafted on RuleV. I had Frank Caballero on the DL and he come off int he off season. He was going to be playing for us this year. I had no idea he was unprotected because on the DL they don't show their unprotected status. I'm pissed at myself as we used a 9th overall pick on him.

Eh, the DL thing is a OOTP problem. You can't protect anyone on the 60-day DL. It's actually kind of an issue.

I wouldn't have picked him if he was still hurt but he was healthy so I don't really see it as an OOTP issue.

1B-Bablio rejoins Pawtucket for one last go around. Love his ratings splits going against lefties. I really thought about Rex for this season, but too many signs point to a quick crash coming.(OSA included)

Added our lefty 5th/ road starter with Gomez.

One more player and we should be good. Nice to see we lose Simmons and his replacement Travis Jimenez takes his spot promptly at #8 for 3B. Have a feeling we might have something this guy.

Took a small jump in the prospect rankings also.

Haven't checked in game what our WAR pts look like, but decent start to the offseason.

Sucks that it happened. I had no idea that the guys on the DL didn't know their status. Honest mistake on my part. Puts a monkey wrench into our plans but that's life in the BLB IMO. I'm not gonna cry about it. So when this happens again to someone else don't cry about it either.
