    2005 Offseason 1 SIM complete - Next SIM Thurs 01/16

    Next SIM: Thurs 1/16

    - Files due by 8 am ET | 5 am PT, any later and you run the risk of missing the sim.
    - Since we are importing you can add Rule 5 players to your 40 man and they will be removed from the Rule 5 draft.
    - HTML and Utility in a few
    - Send your Rule 5 lists to Brad please.

      If you see any issues with anything let us know and we can fix them now...or if we have to re-run the sim.

      I think everything should be in order.

      EDIT...

      And I'm gonna go out on a limb and say NY's CL Danny Alverez is not avail for the Rule 5 draft. He doesn't show on the 40 man but that should be fixed.

          We got raped in arbitration. Probably an extra 7-8 million vs what we offered - which is what the game suggested and what the estimate was.

          Takes us completely out of FA. That's fine though, we kept everyone around (except Rex). Gonna miss him. Wish we could have gotten him a ring but it was a nice run for him since coming back.

            Lol well on RP I see but otherwise another stellar INTL class.

            Rule V class is gross.

            Since we are exporting does this mean bidding can begin?

                    Jistic gets the next 3 GM of the year awards based solely on his contract extensions. Not ONE of his players including JJ will ever make over 10 mil til 2011. All those nasty starters are signed.

                    Here I was patting myself on the back for signing Quinn and young kids and then I see THAT! Not to pick on Plastic, but as an example Ted Dickerson who at 31 never finished a season above .500 and a career ERA over 4 just signed for 13ml for 4 years.

                    Sorry boys, but free agency might be a little boring in the future. Well done Jistic!

                          Got Trujillo under contract for three more years... will likely be the first ever Kodiaks HOF'er. Pretty excited about that.

                              After you bashed the lack of draft podcast...not for you.

                              In reality with the new import for the Rule 5 sim if your friend moves someone to the 40 man and exports...then they won't be available for the Rule 5 draft now will they?
