Wont be ready til about 6-7pm ET.

                  As for this round:

NY vs Indy- Indy's 3rd season as the #1 seed. So far, acting alot like Pawtucket a decade ago. Still, think 3rd time might be a charm for them. New York's stadium is stupid and not good for the sport so probably gets them a couple of wins. INDY in 6

Syr vs Paw- Pawtucket probably one of the hottest teams in baseball the second half of the season going 41-12 during a stretch that began August 7th. Syracuse never seems to end the season well. Despite all that, its "reset" time. 3rd straight season these teams have faced each other and the winner took the DL flag. Syracuse this season is simply the better team. SYR in 6

Phi vs Wash- Still trying to figure out how Philly got here. Solid offense that hits for power and smoke and mirrors pitching. Washington took awhile to figure this version out, but pulled away around allstar break. Somehow Philly hangs tough with Wash. Just a hunch. WASH in 7

Cal vs WC- Cal is fading and Windy City is hitting on all cylinders. Only way something special happens if we "reset" to beginning of the season when Windy City struggled out of the gate and Cali jumped out to that nice start. Otherwise , very lopsided matchup. Records don't lie. WC in 5

Typically both #1 don't end up facing each other in the Brewmaster, but think both will get past round 1 at least.

As for my team, had we been on the road might of picked us. Sick of seeing Syracuse!!! Thinking he feels the same. Least we are healthy for this!!!

87 wins nothing to be ashamed of with the pitching you had.

With the one game "playoff" all three owners from Chi Town participated in the playoffs for the FIRST time. Which means we sort of know what we are doing in fictitious baseball OR.....we have way too much time on our hands.

Lol, think the latter wins out.

No way this series goes 4 for either team. Good luck!

I attribute our "success" to cohesion, if such a thing exists in the game. We've run basically the same group out for the last 3-4 years. I'm not sure how exactly that manifests itself in game, but from anecdotal evidence I feel as though it does. I've seen a few huge deadline deal transactions have a negative impact on my roster to think chemistry doesn't somehow exist.

I felt like we were a 86-88 win team and we managed to overachieve to 91. Essentially it boils down to the fact we went 14-7 against CAL this year. We very rarely achieve a split like that with any of our division foes.

                        Player wise:
*Career years from Alvarez and Pang certainly helped.
*Rule 5er Hugh Brown put up a 3.9 WAR (in 350 AB) number out of nowhere.
*bounce back year from Tommy Jenkin (well, as far as he can bounce at this point)
*Yeandle and Farmer were really the only underachievers in our lineup and that's with Farmer putting up a 2.5 WAR

This was probably our last shot at the division for a while. We're a bit of a mess going forward.

                              Congrats to the playoff teams.

Denver will hold a spot for the rest at the golf course. We've reserved the course since Spring Training.
