Our season may be over, but we're playing the spoiler role well, sweeping the Patriots in Pawtucket.

Twinkle Toes threw six and a third scoreless innings in the series to earn his first BLB win.

Thanks Z. Little cushion between us and the WC now if Indy gets us next sim.

4-3, stay 1 game in front of Indy. It's been a fun September to watch.

Hate spoilers. Lol, kidding. Well done Z. We had your number all season. Make sure you play out the final week!!!!

Pawtucket 2-4. To be honest sort of knew this wouldn't be decided in this sim. All eyes now on the final 7 and of course the big Pitt series. Wish we were on the road.

As for last week was more mad about about 5 runs on the 9th against Toronto. The 12 inning game with Maine could of gone either way.

Export in. Still think we end up with a Lonnie Coleman game somewhere. Just not sure who.(Lager, Pilsner, Ale, Wildcard, multi?)

Crazy. Does Pawtucket have ONE more winning streak in them?

3-4 for the week. Took 2 out of 3 from California and then lose 3 1 run games to Windy City before winning the last one in a shutout. Seems like we've not improved our record much but we are playing most teams a lot closer this season so something to look forward to next season......I hope.

Don't think we are making it this year. Too many injuries to OFers throughout the year. Pitching staff is not set up either so look for us to be on the outside looking in.

Could be making this out to be too simple, , but to me whoever wins our series probably wins this division. Without our closer Rivera you have a great chance. Plus you swept us at home earlier.

Even the wildcard is up for grabs if Syracuse takes both games.

The DL feels like it's in the final week of a NFL season. Lots of what if's and what nots with 6 teams in the playoff hunt.

We are a 1/2 a game out. With a 7day week to close the season out, I doubt we answer the bell. Our pitching is not good enough to handle 7 game sims, unless we are playing Denver and Hartford (sorry guys).

Can September come to an end any sooner?

I'm just hoping for some OOTP magic when the calendar hits October cause we stink this month.

Missing our best player and our two worst pitchers slated for 4 starts this week... Ouch.

So Washington is human! Didn't expect a sweep of the champs, but we'll take it. Needed a little confidence going into the post season.

One sim left to beat our record of wins. Need three to hit 108. Resetting the rotation is a priority now. We've been so hot lately that I'm worried it's gonna balance out just in time for October. Some great races out there, we'll root for a play in game to give out guys some extra rest.

Speaking of the Bats, former 9th round Washington draft pick Napoleon "Thunder" Mendoza just snagged the AAA hitter of the year award for us. He played 4 games for Washinton's A affiliate Eugene and batted .417. He was released and a week later we were able to snatch him up. ALways had a feeling about this guy. And now only 22 he's dominating AAA pitching. Might see him in spring next year.

Let's get the offseason going early and talk trades. My organization is up for moving anyone. Especially some of my prospect P for position players.

In those three games I pitched Zach Koenemann, Terry Bornemann and Manny Salas...three players who won't be on the playoff roster. I really haven't had much to play for the past few weeks. I'm giving my rotation the last two weeks of the season off...and my batters are playing only every other game.

I remember Mendoza. Never noticed he got picked up though. Late in the draft I often target guys with nicknames.

One more sim. No injuries. Go Bats.
