Well, that should do it for us.

We're shutting down Manhos and calling up Twinkle Toes to make a couple starts.

Alvarez will make his BLB debut at age 18 years, 339 days, which I think makes him one of the youngest players in league history.

Not to be a dick, but you were done before Sept 1st.

        Pawtucket 7-0.

        Hmmm, hello Pittsburgh?

Ruben Aparicio pitching MVP and possible Pale Ale winner. Also, sorry to Travis Jimenez for demoting him in July despite batting .301 cuz of his "poor defense". Sometimes defense is overrated(there Jistic I said it)

Told a few GM's early in the season four good teams fighting for 3 playoff spots. Some really good team is going to get screwed.

Other then that nothing to see here.

If my pitching comes along (English, Wences, Lindsey and friends) and my bullpen stays sharp (Manning, Bonilla, Franco), we might be a pretty good baseball team. Salcedo showed up on the top players list and DiMaggio and Colin Cash look to be solid BLBers. Might just have to use our cash to plug some holes.

We were on life support, but there was a realistic chance we could make up an eight-game deficit with about 25 games to go.

With you and Indy both on 8+ game winning streaks, we're screwed, obviously.

But had we gone on the winning streak instead, we'd be right there.

              Agreed.

Right now just surprised there is a possible division race again. Been aiming at the wildcard since mid August. Pat Harrison (aka-Patuckets yearly rent a catcher) seemed to be our turning point. 5-4-5-6-6 (my scout) so seemed like a nice gamble.

Rivera out so that's gonna hurt, but just saw Schubert out again for Pitt. That guy has a fragile feel to him.

So I'll be without Al Hamilton for the 1st half of next year. I put him at 1B to reduce the chances of this happening but he gets hurt running the bases.

Well at least we went 5-2 but it looks like Katsura should be rounding back into form for next season.

Solid sim- split 2/4 with LAD and then won 2/3 from Maine. Right now, we sit 3.5 games behind LAD. We need to win and win big the next few series- we play Hartford, Denver, Syracuse, Toronto, and New Orleans prior to a huge final 3 game set against LA at the end of the year. LAD has a much tougher go of it with two three game sets against Pawtucket and Pittsburgh. Since shoring up the back of my pen with Martinez and Alvarez (who's been outstanding), this team has played a lot more consistently.

                  It's go time.

I have a feeling it will all come down to that last series.

3-4 sim. Lost another game in my small lead. The DL has literally blown up over the last two sims. Crazy.

Man, we are bleeding fast. We were up double digits over the WC about 7 weeks ago.

Lost Dave McDaniel a couple sims ago which was huge, and now Antonio Torres is diagnosis pending as well.

Matchup wise that might not be a good idea.

Doesn't matter. Pawtucket is obviously now the odds on favorite to win it all. How do you stop this runaway train?

HAhahahahahaha. Nice one Jistic. I see what you did there.

Sorry, Vegas has WC 1-2 to win this sucker. Your the first seed overall. Only an act of god or some "historic" injury can stop you now.

Pawtucket can still miss the playoffs.
