Since I complained 1st I'm all on board with doing something.

Minor league guys who never make the majors are deleted anyways so I guess a ghost player isn't much different. I just like to see those rare success stories we have and enjoy looking at minor league players, especially their HS and college stats.

So I think the 30 and no DL at each level would be nice but I'll go with whatever the group wants.

            Ghost players for me.

            Fine with either though.

If this ends up being a vote for 30 or ghost I'll vote ghost. 30 players,is overkill.

Still think the current system is fine.

If we're going ghost players that means we finally get a rookie league.

I'm thinking 22 year old age cut off and run a season right after the draft so 50-60 games. I'll monitor violators of the age limit.

Well we cant do 30 either so lets just stick with what we have.

Already too many 30 year olds in AA as it is.

For single A i semi agree with you. 23 MAX age. Once 24 cut or instant move up.

AA & AAA shouldn't matter. Our single A becomes a hybrid A/ Rookie league.

This week marks the return of Katsura. He was dominant in his two AAA starts. Very unlikely that we make the playoffs but I'm very happy to have him back.

No, I'm talking about adding a Rookie League below A ball. The fact that some didn't want to manage a 4th level is irrelevant if we have ghost players... you can just field a ghost team, it won't matter.

I don't want ghost players but I wouldn't mind adding a 21 max age rookie league. I don't see us adding the rookie league without "ghost" as this is more work for some but combined it could alleviate some hassles for less mindful GMs while adding more detail for others.

Wouldn't all minor league league players (signed and drafted) be assigned to the rookie league? If so that's a lot of movement to track.
