Still trying not to get too excited. Shumway returns this sim and the team has played well.

Also, I'm in Portland now. Yay.

Starting to wonder if Ezequiel de Leon will ever be ready for the majors.

Another big DC injury. SP Tom Downs will miss the next 3-4 months with a torn labrum. The rotation is still pretty loaded but losing a guy with a 2.10 ERA in 2002 and 2003 combined, definitely hurts.

However, this week the Bats go 3-1 @ Philadelphia and 3-0 vs. Baltimore. Team is really putting it together. The IL leaders are beginning to runaway with their leads. The Wild Card race could be epic though.

A 3-3 week. Was hoping to keep some of the guys down on the farm until September but with the trouble we have scoring runs I think a couple of them are going to make an appearance sooner rather then later.

Great. Slammers and Clowns before the All-Star break, hopefully we can end the first half on a winning note but it's going to be a test.

It seems like our players are a bit gassed at the moment. That's partly my fault and not utilizing my bench but we're still healthy so what the hell. Still the best batting average in the DL .
