    Pawtucket 2-5.

Really having a hard time matching up with Syracuse or Indy right now. Both are good teams to begin with, but we need to play better then this.

Lost every game to Indy AFTER the 7th inning. My bullpen is a complete train wreck right now. Nothing is working. Never expected losing our righty setup man Angelo Gonzales would cause this much impact!

I know second half tends to be Pawtucket's "time to shine", but not feeling it this season. Not in the camp of "this version is broken", its just a different version with new interpretation on the ratings.

It falls on management to figure out whats changed, adapt and fix it fast.

I guess we do agree on things from time to time.

2-4 and even got the broom from Washington. Couldn't muster any offense against them and now on a 4-game losing streak. Not looking good to end soon since we see Windy City next. At least Al is back. Also the injury time is not-specific anymore. Last week it said Hamilton would be back in 1-2 weeks, which usually meant 8-13 days, but he's healed now. I think we'll ease him back. Stratman has done an admirable job, but he's no Al.

We're just as lost in Batavia. Gomez with a 5.57 ERA and my scout saying he can't even pitch for Denver. Barajas hitting .207/.288. Our bullpen and starters constantly getting rocked. I have no idea what's going on. I can't even believe we are above .500.

            Spoiler

Our race to the bottom begins. Jarava is out - but he'll be back mid August to help your stretch run if you want to stash him on your DL. He won't cost much and proved he can still hit. Kimpton can help a bullpen and Hoffman a rotation.

Salcedo could make a difference for a contender.

Danny was looking to win his 4th in a row and he goes down with a hurt hammy...out for 2-3 months? Geez that must be a heck of a strain. Time for one of the Killer B's to come up from AAA.

3-4. We actually finished above .500 in June at 15-13.

Duarte promptly hit home runs in his first two games back since injury.

Ramirez is heating up. Marshburn has remained consistent.

Mueller continues to pitch brilliantly. Tamieke is doing well. Ledbetter has mostly surprised me. Didn't expect him to pitch this well this soon.

Down in the farm, Verba had his first big week. Hit 2 home runs, drove in 7 runs. Is hitting .306/.386/.510 in his first 14 games. Super early and I actually expect he won't finish the A season that well, but it's a glimpse of his potential.

2nd round pick Rodrigues has been slow to start, but 4th round pick - and former FSU teammate of Verba - Dave Fountain has not. No power in this guy, but he's been great at lead off for the Little Rock Bulls.

Overall. They swept us at home earlier this season.

I'm not saying we are a horrible team, but haven't seen one big run from us yet.
Not sure I feel one coming either.

A big reason we are on a 4 game losing streak? TJ Stratman is 0-23 in his last 6 games with 0 walks. Talk about a cold streak.

I'm pretty sure even a rusty Al Hamilton will at least get a couple walks, sheesh.
