    Washington Bats - ST2 SIM - 6-6
After starting 10-2, the Bats close out the Spring going .500 the final 12 games, finishing at 16-8. Tying New Orleans for best ST record in the BLB.

    The Good
-Loving what I am seeing out of Jamie Lundgren. The 27-year-old reliever, acquired in the Finley Kinsey trade with New Orleans, looks finally developed. This Spring he struck out 22 in 15 innings and gave up just one earned run. A solo shot.

    The Bad
The "winner" of the three-way Spring Training battle for shortstop is Cy Gray.

    The Ugly
Closer J.J. Black goes to the 60 day DL and loses a point on his stuff. Terrible way to start the season. Also out is utility infielder Steven Bailey, who will miss the first month, leaving very little infield depth.

    Next Week
Opening Day! The defending champions start the season in Chicago facing the Playboys. Then travel back to D.C. to face the Brawlers. It will be interesting to see how the bullpen responds without their leader and how the defense looks with no Shawn Nolan in the middle.

    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

      Oh Cy Gray.

Baltimore and I have made some trades over the years and I think the only one that worked out for a season or two was Lonnie Grady for Pat Williamson(? I forget his name).

I went to game 7 in the DLCS only to lose to eventual champion Maine in shutout fashion. Then he was pretty much gone.

Grady was good for about two years for the Bulldogs before crashing.

Cy Gray can **** my ****.

He is hitting 9th in both lineups.

Yep. 1992. Grady crashed midseason after starting 10-1, 2.59 ERA, 157 ERA+. Other Baltimore crashees in 1992....Loren Wallace and Kyoden Kubota, all having career years.

          I'm just saying.
