AHHHHH.....The predictions change from sim to sim. It appears its based on who is in your starting lineup at the time.(Indy will only win 52 games)

Looks like we stink now. Be it, Tyler Gerald & Bananas got some long RP time and were not slotted as starters.

Will Moreno seems to want the #5 role at the moment.

9-3 Spring. No injuries. The players that matter seemed to play well.

Looks like everything is still in order.

      4-8.

But I'm at peace with it. The big three had nice starts to Spring Training. They even hit their first ST home runs in the same game.

Now it's about the pitching for us. Need the young guns to keep improving. Offense is looking pretty good for exhibition games.

Bring in Ken Bayer to mentor our young and talented bullpen. He should also give us a boost in the seats.

              Washington Bats - ST1 SIM - 10-2
I'm no Windy City, but we normally perform very well in the Spring. Not surprise by the impressive record. Lost two games, one of which was a one-run road loss in extras. I'll take it.

              The Good
-Not one of my six Starting Pitchers gave up a homerun and all of them lasted the Spring Training maximum four innings per start. The rotation will again be a strong point of the team. Normally I have a player or two competing for a spot in the rotation through Spring Training and usually the first month of the season. This year, I think this is the six that I will stick with throughout the entire season if they stay healthy.

-After a subpar 2003, it appears 3B Tyler McLouth is back on track. The 27-year-old is hitting .419 so far this Spring. After bouncing around last season in the lineup, McLouth will be locked in at the #2 spot in both lineups. I think that's the role he fits best in.

              The Bad
The trio of players vying for infield at bats at shortstop, Cy Gray, Damian Anderson and Steven Bailey all struggled. Gray's .561 OPS is leaps and bounds better than Anderson's .205 and Bailey's .304. Might be in the market for a shortstop here soon.

              The Ugly
An injury! Closer and fan favorite J.J. Black has a diagnosis pending. Hoping for a quick recovery. With the retirement of Phil McSwain, the Free-Agent departures of Don Bolton and Edgar Salazar, combined now with this Black injury, the bullpen is going to look a lot different this year. It could get ugly.

Don't like the look of our offense and I'm not sure we'll be able to keep up in the Porter with a big injury to Katsura.

May have to consider a mini-rebuild for the next 2 years.

That wasn't too bad. Messed around with the "bench player for x days" feature with a couple of my bullpen arms. Worked exactly as it should have. Good stuff.

Opening Day on a Sunday would be that much sweeter.

                        Just sayin.
