Gotta like Pat's pitching. Two really good squads, but I'll take Washington in 6.

Interested in what Pawtucket has planned for the non-DH games.

Sadly, I think this is Funclown's year. Should be a good series. Fully expect it to go Game 7.

Gonna have to agree with you.

It basically comes down to can we hold down home court and win ONE game in in Washington.

Washington has stormed out in both they're series which put enormous pressure on Cali & WC. We can't afford that. We go 0-2 in Pawtucket and its lights out.

Pawtucket basically using two junkball pitchers (good ones) and what amounts to be 2 long RPer's, leaning heavily on the bullpen. The whole goal is give it to the bullpen by the 7th while leading and hand it to the big 3 (Gonzales, Augullar, Rivera) As for the hitting, they seem to be bringing it right now (Octavio has gone nuts) but two real good offenses just got shut down so we will need these guys to continue to play over they're heads.

Washington trots out 3 aces and a very good pitcher. A better defense (especially with Boyce gone) Oh and they have a good bullpen also. Like Funclown, Pat believes in enough "eye" hitters to make the opposing pitchers run up pitch counts.

Summary: Washington in 6. No contest. We just want to compete.

              WAS

It really could go either way. Two great teams here with owners that seldom make mistakes. One of the closest Championship matchups I've seen.

I'm worried of OOTP self-destructing if FC wins a Brewmasters.

Not going to happen. Funclown is like our own personal Marv Levy.

Right?!? It's been teetering ever since his resurgence. There is a serious threat to Funclown's liver if he wins as well.
