I'm just happy to be in the mix. My team is young so a little unpredictable. I would not be surprised if we make it to the post season or if we don't. I've felt like 86 wins was our destiny from the beginning. Still see no reason to change. We're streaky. We have no delusions of grandeur. Just making an appearance would be enough. I don't think we're seasoned enough to run with the big dogs yet.

Very excited for the stretch run. My division lead is safe and will continue to give starters days off and run out the six man rotation. I'm also very excited about my depth not only on the bench but even in the minors. Hopefully I avoid a big injury but I think I could absorb it and compete for the title.

For the second half I'm trying to nail down a set lineup order so players become more comfortable in their role. I am also looking to give backup catcher Doug Briggs more regular starts. Mal Brady could use the rest from playing behind the plate.
