One thing I found interesting is that Leo Garcia (BAT) has given up 21 home runs so far this season but still has an ERA under 3.00. I think that's either very lucky or very impressive. Probably a little of both.

I know a lot can happen in half of a season, but I like my chances to make the playoffs as a wildcard and even with the potential to catch Cali for the Porter crown. I think Torres only gets better as the season goes on and his attitude settles down and gives us 4 starters than can get us wins in the playoffs.

Teams I don't want to see in the playoffs: WC and PAW.

I'll post more later, but clearly Indy is the favorite in the DL. Just a very balanced team.

The IL is a bit more competitive with the insane Porter division, a young Windy City team that come the playoff "reset" can be very dangerous. Then there's Washington just sort of staying quiet. Really have no idea who will win it here.

As for Pawtucket. I believe we are more balanced this season. Unless crazyness occurs, it feels we have the most talent in the Ale. Nutty things can happen, but its just my opinion. Can we beat any of the teams mentioned above, yes I think we can. Are we more talented? Nah, think we'd need some lucky dive rolls.

I'm just happy to be in the mix. My team is young so a little unpredictable. I would not be surprised if we make it to the post season or if we don't. I've felt like 86 wins was our destiny from the beginning. Still see no reason to change. We're streaky. We have no delusions of grandeur. Just making an appearance would be enough. I don't think we're seasoned enough to run with the big dogs yet.

I am anointing you to go all the way. Mainly because of previous inflammatory comments about our team.

Now you have been cursed. May your team crash and burn. May your dugout fill with pestilence and disease. May your fans cheer for your rivals until your owner moves the team to Alaska. Let the only thing worth watching in Baltimore be the set of "The Wire".
