  • 2003 Regular Season 14 SIM Complete - Next SIM Wednesday 10/2

    Next SIM Wednesday

    - Files due by 8 am ET | 5 am PT
    - HTML in a few minutes

The All-Star teams were picked on Sunday...and when I simmed to Monday HAL picked them. I checked and basically all the top selections were picked. I debated for a bit but going back in time and restoring from back-up scares me and I don't want to screw anything up. I apologize to everyone. I know this has happened once before and I will make sure to do better next season.

    Spoiler

    - I moved guys to open AA and AAA teams or DFA'd them with the option "pull back if claimed".

    Pawtucket approves early sims!

    Spoiler

Lucca only gone for 4 weeks. Not that the offense cared as we batted .321. Simmons again back on the top players list. Not sure why Quinn has not snuck up on the list.

The team appears way more balanced then last season. Overall, like what I'm seeing heading into Allstar week.

Can someone tell me why my manager keeps starting my bullpen guys when I have my rotation set up for strict order?

Do you have 6 man rotation set in the bottom tab and only loaded up 5 starters? I mess up every now and then when I bounce between 5 man/ 6 man rotations then some RP ends up starting.

7 day lineups set to yes WITHOUT filling it in? Sometimes that does it also.

                        Back to the $$$.

I'm still pissed about my negative projected budget.

There's so many fucking numbers on the front office tab with no explanation.

What's projected final balance? Is that the number I'm supposed to really care about?

Split with LA and then took 2 of 3 against the Dukes.

                          We are doing it wrong.

Having said that, I'm giving a bunch of my younger guys the everyday jobs.

It's time for Porter to catch. I love Wells and I'm holding onto him for now, but I need Porter to be a starter next year.

Same with Willie Gomez. We acquired him from Pawtucket in the Ole Mens deal. He hit a homerun in his first game as the everyday starter. Need more of that.

Our pitching is developing slowly. Still happy with our Top 100 pitching prospects. Jon Robinson is dealing at his price. Mueller obviously as everyone knows is looking like he's here. Gentner is a very nice piece. Wish he was younger but it takes some guys time.

Still hoping on Potter. He's reminding me of Pete Jones a bit. Too many up and down games. Hoping he just needs time.

                          Throw them in the fire!
