    You're welcome!

Mine had him #1 too. A raise is in order.

My scout loved him but I have a ton of pitching so I took a hitter.

Thank goodness I didn't pick him though...you guys would have run me out as commish already.

I had a feeling he picked it up in the spring, but it wasn't showing up because it happened after rescouts.

Not rocket science. Scouting report said all star starter. And some scouts had him rated #1 overall. He was a solid gamble.

Not really. Alot of "top pitchers" who show starter only have two pitches. His just happened to get a 3rd pitch. I wish him well.

Yes, but the actual report from scouts called him "an elite, front-line starter." That doesn't usually happen for two-pitch guys.

Granted, that could have been wrong, hence why it was a hunch rather than a sure-thing.

Since I didnt have a first rounder this season, I'll admit I didn't spend as much time as I normally do especially when dealing with pitchers.

How does his 3rd pitch look? In the end the important thing is that third pitch POT is "3" or above your in good shape. Also, might be some more upside in there thats hidden.

Its a good catch for picking in the mid-late first.

Exactly, for most 2 pitch guys it says "all-star closer" for Alvarez it said a Cy Young winner. That was the first time I had seen it for at two pitch guy. I didn't trust it. I should have.

Looks like it's a 4 now with potential of a 6. So, very good.

The kid's 17 and he's telling me I should put him in the majors right now. I like it!
